Brett Welch is our talented wedding sales and events manager and a true asset to Hidden Creek. From the moment you first meet her, you will notice her genuine warmth and enthusiasm for her job. Brett is a quintessential pro who brings all the elements together to create an unforgettable wedding experience. She will be your guide throughout the planning process, and is available for unlimited calls, texts, and emails. She will also happily provide unlimited vendor recommendations so you can be sure you’re getting the very best products and services for your special day.

Your Sales and Events Assistant 

Lanie Rhodes

Lanie is the smiling face you see when you visit Hidden Creek. With her upbeat attitude you will instantly want to make her your wedding day BFF! From tour to wedding day Lanie is with you every step of the way ready to give advice and ideas. Her attention to detail is unparalleled making her one of your biggest assets on your wedding day, you know she will not miss a thing. With Lanie as your coordinator you can relax and breathe easy knowing she has your back.

4 – 6 Weeks Before the Wedding

  • Create a detailed timeline of events and itinerary during a face-to-face meeting
  • Review and finalize timeline and distribute to all vendors 2 weeks prior to the event
  • Design custom floorplan for ceremony and reception
  • Final walkthrough of venue to discuss details, item location, and setup
  • Questionnaire covering event details
  • Vendor confirmation and coordination

Ceremony Rehearsal

  • Coordination of wedding rehearsal for up to 1 hour
  • Collect wedding day items (marriage license, guest book, pictures, toasting flutes, favors, candles, programs, place cards, cake knife, etc.)

 Month/Day-Of Event Coordination

  • Coordinate at venue for unlimited number of hours
  • Direct event from start to finish
  • Assist bride, groom, and bridal party with any needs
  • Greet and direct wedding day vendors
  • Act as liaison between vendors, family, and wedding party
  • Supervise all setup details
  • Distribute bouquets and boutonnieres to wedding party and assist with attachment
  • Set up all decor not handled by a specific vendor (menus, favors, unity candles, programs, pictures, etc.)
  • Setup of personal decorations
  • Verify marriage license is signed and wedding rings are present
  • Direct ushers with programs and seating distribution
  • Line up and cue wedding party for ceremony
  • Line up and cue reception grand entrance
  • Collect gifts given at ceremony and deliver to reception site
  • Distribute final payments and gratuities to vendors as needed
  • Bustle wedding gown
  • Direct guests
  • Coordinate with photographer during family photos
  • Arrange for refreshments for couple upon arrival to reception
  • Move items from ceremony to reception site (guest book, gifts, floral arrangements. etc.)
  • Assist band or DJ in coordinating special events (grand entrance, bouquet toss, first dance. etc.)
  • Cue bride and groom for all important events
  • Maintain and coordinate timeline for all events
  • Handle last minute changes
  • Provide emergency kit
  • Ensure things go smoothly with banquet staff
  • Distribute items for grand exit
  • Gather all personal decor items and load into designated vehicle
  • Coordinate breakdown for the event
  • Pack up personal decorations

As you can see, we take care of every little thing so you can focus on having the wedding of your dreams. Coordination services are included with Package “A” on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weddings, and may be added to weekday packages for an additional $1,000.

At Hidden Creek, we never book more than one event per day because we want our clients to know they have our full focus during their special occasion. We host events of all kinds, including corporate luncheons, fundraisers, team-building exercises, seminars, quinceaneras, anniversaries, and holiday parties – but weddings are our favorite! We feel truly privileged to be a part of so many beautiful weddings for couples throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

With our scenic, wooded surroundings and rustic elegance indoors and out, Hidden Creek has something for everyone. Take a stroll in the nearby field where couples love to pose for sunset photography sessions. Lose yourself in the natural beauty of our ceremonial area, flanked by twinkle lights and set against a backdrop of lush trees. Ascend our grand staircase and admire the beauty of our glorious chandelier. Hidden Creek has been the setting for many happily-ever-afters.

“I got married there a week ago and I was completely blown away. Brett is an angel and I would get married over and over again just to have her as my wedding coordinator. I started working with her when we were about a month out from my wedding and she took care of EVERYTHING!! It was a giant weight off my shoulders knowing Brett had it under control.
