How It All Started

Sam Pendyala and Isaac Mathai grew up together in Mesquite, Texas, serving in their churches and surrounding communities. In 2006, they got their start in the event industry as DJs and video producers. They would sporadically talk about someday owning their own business in the wedding industry but had no idea where those talks would eventually lead them.

For a short time, their dream was forgotten. Isaac graduated from radiology school and started practicing in Fort Worth. Sam graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Business Administration degree and opened up a couple of quick-service restaurants in Richardson, TX.

In the summer of 2012, Isaac felt the urge to start his own business after stagnating in his career. His dream of working in the event industry came rushing back, and soon it was all he could think about. He was afraid to tell people about his plan because it sounded crazy, but he had already made up his mind.

A couple of months later, Isaac met Sam for dinner and broached the topic with his old friend. Sam was game and ready to pour all of his audio and kitchen equipment into the venture. Shortly after they met, the two sat down with their wives and children and put their dreams on a napkin.

The two friends put the napkin into action and broke ground in the Fall of 2015. Then, on October 15, 2016, they hosted their first wedding at Hidden Creek. What once was two young boys’ dreams turned into their daily reality. Now, they work together to make other people’s dreams come true by helping engaged couples pull off their perfect wedding.
