As you prepare for your big day, we want to give you a glimpse of how your wedding day might unfold at our venue. From the excited morning preparations to the last dance of the evening, here’s a timeline of the magical moments that await you.
Morning: Bride & Groom Preparations
You and your bridesmaids will arrive at our spacious upstairs bridal suite with plenty of time to get ready. Here, you’ll find a well-lit, three-station vanity area perfect for hair and makeup preparations. The private bathroom and shower offer a place to freshen up before and after the ceremony. To keep you comfortable, we keep the room’s mini fridge stocked with cold water.
Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen can relax downstairs in the groom’s room. This welcoming space features a television and an Xbox for pre-ceremony entertainment. Like the bridal suite, it’s equipped with a mini fridge and water for refreshment. The groom’s party is welcome to enjoy the adjacent garden area for their pre-ceremony activities.
Early Afternoon: First Look and Photos
Before the ceremony, many couples choose to have their “first look” or “first touch” moment. Our picturesque grounds offer numerous beautiful spots for this special reveal. Whether it’s by our serene pond or under the canopy of trees, this private moment allows you to see each other for the first time on your wedding day, away from the crowd.
After your first look, it’s the perfect time for couple’s photos. Our diverse landscape provides a variety of backdrops, from rustic to elegant, ensuring your wedding album will be filled with stunning images.
Mid-Afternoon: Family & Group Photos
Following the couple’s photos, we’ll gather your families for group shots. Our spacious grounds allow for easy coordination of large family groups, and our experienced team can help ensure this process runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Ceremony
As the ceremony time approaches, your guests will gather in our beautiful outdoor ceremony area. Surrounded by trees and twinkling lights, this captivating setting creates the perfect atmosphere for exchanging vows. A long sidewalk leads to the wooden wedding open-air gazebo, which can be adorned with flowers and flowing fabric. Here, you’ll share your first kiss as a married couple while your guests applaud.
Our outdoor ceremony area can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests, plus a band or DJ. The natural-looking green turf ensures you’ll never worry about brown grass, mud, or sinking heels.
Post-Ceremony: More Photo Opportunities
After you’ve exchanged vows, there’s time for additional photos with your wedding party and guests. The golden hour light at this time often provides a magical glow for outdoor photos.
The Grand Entrance
After the ceremony, you and your spouse will secretly retreat via our back staircase. This allows for a dramatic reveal as you’re introduced as newlyweds at the top of our grand staircase, beneath the stunning chandelier – a perfect photo opportunity. You’ll then descend the stairs past your cheering guests and proceed to the ballroom for your reception.
Evening: The Reception
The reception unfolds in our nearby ballroom, allowing for a seamless transition from ceremony to celebration. Here, you’ll dance, dine, and create lasting memories with your loved ones.
Throughout the Day
Our event coordinator (included in Friday-Sunday packages, available for weekdays at an additional fee) will ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll enjoy the serenity of our secluded location while benefiting from nearby hotels and restaurants, just a short drive away.
